Christine Drazan is a state senator and the 2026 Republican nominee for Oregon governor. She narrowly lost the 2022 governor's race to Tina Kotek in a three-way contest where independent Betsy Johnson drew 8.6 percent of the vote. In 2026, with Johnson not running, the race is a direct Kotek-Drazan rematch. She previously served as House Minority Leader in the Oregon House, making her the first Republican woman to hold that role in Oregon. She is from Canby in the Willamette Valley.
