About MyPolity
MyPolity is a civic operating system for the United States. It makes the information you need to participate in your government — your representatives, upcoming elections, legislation, ballot measures, and civics fundamentals — easy to find and understand.
Why it exists
Interacting with the government today is a bad experience. Information is fragmented across thousands of websites, representatives are invisible to the people they serve, and civic literacy is declining. None of this is inevitable. It's a design problem, and it's solvable.
MyPolity connects citizens directly to their government — without the middlemen who currently sit between Americans and the information they're entitled to.

- —Non-partisan — Every party and candidate gets a fair, well-written presentation. No editorial lean.
- —Primary sources — Data links directly to official government sources — Congress.gov, state Secretaries of State, the FEC. We are not the source; they are.
- —No data sales — We do not sell user data. Civic identity is a trust relationship, and we treat it that way.
- —Citizen-first — We partner with public institutions, but our loyalty is to the people using the product — not to the officials in it.
