Byron Donalds has represented Florida's 19th Congressional District since 2021 and serves on the House Budget Committee and House Judiciary Committee. A member of the House Freedom Caucus and a prominent national conservative voice, he was among the names discussed for the vice presidential nomination in 2024. He received an endorsement from former President Donald Trump for the 2026 Florida governor's race, where he is seeking the Republican nomination. A Naples-area businessman before entering politics, he served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020.
